about

I have heard many, many, genres of music and a plethora of artists within those genres, and I have to say this release is one of the most unique and unclassifiable things I have ever heard. The way the album flows makes me perceive it is a living, breathing, entity of its own. A general idea of what you're getting into I guess would be a post-rock, drone, tribal, sound-scape cluster-fuck in an opium den complete with brass instruments. In a sea of clones and derivative ideas, this album truly stands out to me and is undoubtedly one of the best albums of 2009.
